Pamela Denise Anderson (born July 1, 1967 in Ladysmith, British Columbia) is a Canadian American actress and model. Anderson is best known for her roles on the television series Home Improvement, Baywatch and V.I.P. after rising to fame as Playmate of the Month for Playboy magazine in February 1990. Her centerfold was photographed by Stephen Wayda & Arny Freytag. Anderson has also appeared in films such as Raw Justice (1994), Barb Wire (1996) and Blonde and Blonder (2008) and was inducted into Canada's Walk of Fame in 2006. Anderson started as C.J. Parker in the film series "Baywatch". She was the best known female Baywatch lifeguard and set the gold standard as a beautiful, sexy, athletic lifeguard.<br><br>
In her early years she wanted to be a fitness instructor/body builder. She is muscular with strong biceps which are often air-brushed out. She can develop muscles quickly and lose them when she doesn't exercise so much. Most of her opponents underestimate her strength. She is trained in kick-boxing and trained hard to do her own stunts on "Baywatch." Anderson is an activist [edit] for the animal rights movement and has conducted campaigns condemning the commercial fur industry and promoting veganism through the animal rights organization People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA).
